Kirra's News & Updates.
17-Dec-2002
Over 6 years have passed and there have been no problems with Kirra's health.

Below is a diary of events and mile stones in Kirra's life, this is mainly for Kirra & us, however you are welcome to see what she's been up to.

15-Jan-2001

Kirra is now extremely well. If you did not know her history, it would be difficult to tell her apart from any other three year old. We have been very lucky and wish you the same luck.

Bye for now.....

Kirra's been on two holidays in 2001, and here's a few Holidays snaps of Kirra doing what all kids like to do.

This is my favourite picture, it is the same mountain as below only taken from a different angle, I've made it so it can be enlarged, because I think it is so cool.

At the beginning of the year we took Kirra back to Furteventura, the picture on the left shows Caleta de Fuste in the background, Kirra and her sisters walked from Caleta de fuste, up the mountain path to the top where you can see them now. Kirra walked all the way up and 90% of the way down without any help.
Staying with a mountain theme, here's Kirra on Mount Olympus in Cyprus. (Sept 2001.) I do not have a clue what she is doing..........
And finally the Kids Play area of Paphos water park Cyprus. Kirra loved the pirate ship slides.

5-Jan-2002

Wow... a whole year has gone, absolutely trouble free, Kirra has finished play school and starts proper school soon. Kirra met Liam & Ana from CBBC (UK Children's TV presenters) at the OSCAR fun day.

Only one picture came out, never mind, Kirra and her friends ( Mille & Isabel <-- in pic, Lotty, Georgina) had lots of fun and Kirra's big sisters helped organize the games & Disco, with addittional help from Mal & Lucy (Gemma's friends).

Pulling a funny face near Gibraltar.

April 2002, Kirra enjoys a week on the Costa de Sol in Spain, She even went to Gibraltar for a Big Mac.
September 2002 and its off to Corfu, I loved this island, despite the rip-off tourist prices for almost everything, poor quality restaurants and lots of rain, this was a very enjoyable time.
After two weeks, Kirra's normally ready to come home, not in Corfu. Although our side of the Island was mostly pebble beaches and we ate in a lot, Kirra did not want to leave.
Bobbing around in the Med, The specks are bread crumbs.
The girls are shipwrecked miles from short on a Pedelo.

Just because I'm proud of her, Here's a few pictures of Kirra's sister Gemma, scuba diving in Corfu, she's only just passed her PADI open water course and this was her first dive outside the UK. Her "buddy", a Greek guy called Chris was one cool dude. Gemma felt very safe with him.
